Bet9ja/Edo FA Cup:    Edo FA Boss Appreciates Eguavoen's  Donation,

Edo state Football Association chairman, Fred Newtown Erhunmwunse has commended the technical director of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Austin Eguavoen for matching words with action, as he gave out a good number of quality Balls to the Edo FA as promised to prosecute the FA Cup competition in Edo state.

The Edo FA boss said he received the quality Balls from one of the staff of the former Super Eagles captain in Benin City on Tuesday, adding that the Balls will help a lot as the FA cup contest enters the second round on March 17th and 18th 2024.

"I am happy to inform everyone that, as promised, the Technical director of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Austin Eguavoen has given us a good number of Quality Balls as his own contribution towards a successful FA cup competition in Edo state, this will help us a lot, the balls are here now, I will hand them over to the organising and disciplinary committee chairman ahead of the second round of matches", Fred Newtown Erhunmwunse stated.

"On behalf of the Edo state Football Association, I want to thank my senior brother for this wonderful support, we are grateful, this is massive, we appreciate your support sir."

The Bet9ja/Edo FA cup competition will continue on Sunday 17th of March 2024 with the second round of matches.

At the western Boys high school mini sports complex Ikpoba Hill, Rolly Fc will do battle with Konstanz Dike Fc by 2PM, while Deltra Fc will take on Delight Fc by 4PM.

At the S&T Army Barracks Ugbowo, lne stars will square up against Nwanegbo Philip Fc by 2PM, with the second match of day between Benin warriors and Royal Force slated for 4PM.

Monday March 18th, 2024, will have three matches decided. At the western boys high school mini sports complex Ikpoba Hill, last year runner up Bendel insurance Feeders will face Alhaji Fc by 2PM, while Metrice Fc trade tackles with Efe urhocity Fc by 4PM. B J foundation will take on Trade fair fc by 3PM at S&T Army Barracks Ugbowo.
