Contractors that supplied COVID-19 medical equipment and items to the Federal Capital Territory Administration have taken to major streets in protest against the partial payment of money allegedly owed them since 2019.

The protesters blocked the entrance gate of the FCT Minister, causing gridlock and preventing vehicles from accessing the secretariat.

They held several banners, calling on the FCT Minister, Mohammed Bello, to take action concerning their demands.

They were seen in their numbers as they protested.

The protesting contractors lamented that the money owed them is almost three years, adding that their efforts have been washed down the drain.
