According to him, most parents are treating their girl child as inferior to their male child.

“Girl child are as important as their male counterparts. They equally deserve quality education like the male child.

“A girl child is special. They are not just meant for kitchen as believed by most people.

“We need to completely erase that mentality that a girl child is inferior.

“A girl child gets enough talent, knowledgeable and charisma to effect positive change around her. Invest in them and see a special creature God created,” he said.

The proprietor, however called on journalists, NGO’s, and education stakeholders to sensitise and advocate need to invest on girl child education in the country.

Babatunde also advised the public to stop discrimination against girl child and treat them as ‘pure gold’.
