The late former Chief of General Staff, Rtd Lt.-Gen. Oladipo Diya, will be buried on July 29.

Announcing this on behalf of the family, late Diya's son, Barrister (Prince) Oyesinminlola Diya said "After a meeting of the entire family of the late Lt-General Donaldson Oladipo Oyeyinka Diya (Rtd) GCON LLB BL PSC FSS mni, who passed into Glory on Sunday, March 26th, 2023.

"The burial rites are scheduled as follows: Wednesday, 26th of July, 2023, Night of Tribute; Thursday, 27th July, 2023, Service of Songs; Friday, 28th of July, 2023, Christian Wake Keep.

"Saturday, 29th of July, 2023 will be the Final burial rites including Church Services, --interment, Reception/Entertainment and final laying to rest while 30th of July 2023 will be a Thanksgiving service.

"Further details will be made available in due course.

"Please remember us in your prayers especially our mother his dear wife Otunba (Mrs ) Josephine Onoimuoko Diya (JP)," he said.
