The Nigerian Military School, Zaria Ex-Boys Association has celebrated its members who are among the recent military appointments made by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The President had on June 19, 2023 retired all former service chiefs and appointed new ones along with other officers to man selected military formations.
Alumni of the prestigious school appointed include R Adm EA Ogalla, who was appointed as Chief of Naval Staff and AVM HB Abubakar who was appointed as Chief of Air Staff.
He also approved the following Ex-Boys’ appointments in the Villa: Col AO Onasanya, Commander Guards Brigade; Lt Col AB Inuwa, CO 177 Guards Bn; Maj IF Audu, CO State House Artillery and Capt KO Sunmonu, 2IC State House Artillery.

We are united in our diversity. It is for these reasons that we are confident in the capacity of these officers to serve Nigeria with the utmost professionalism and competence”, Engr. Femi Ikuponiyi, the National President of the Alumni body said.
Founded in 1954, the secondary school is set to mark its 70th Anniversary next year. NMS Zaria has remained the leading preparatory ground for young talents for the Armed Forces of Nigeria. The school has also produced exceptional and patriotic citizens across every sphere of the nation’s economy.
