Ministerial list: Former ANAN president advises Tinubu against appointing sycophants

A former President, of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), Dr Samuel Nzekwe, has advised President Bola Tinubu against appointing sycophants as ministers to prevent the failure of his administration.

Nzekwe gave the advice in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Ota, Ogun.

He said that the advice became necessary in order for Tinubu to select the best hands that would help him to move the country forward.

The former ANAN president urged him to select serious-minded people who have the interest of the country at heart.

“Not having capable ministers to assist in discharging the necessary responsibilities, means that this administration has failed.”he said.

Nzekwe appealed to Nigerians to be patient with the president, towards appointing ministers as selecting good hands across the six-geopolitical zones, was not an easy task.

He stressed the need for him to appoint detribalised persons who share the same set goals with him.

The former president commended president Tinubu for the removal of fuel subsidy and unification of the exchange rate.
