Wike is Nobody, he Was Once A Motor Park Worker In Port Harcourt.....Dr. Pedro Obaseki

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Pedro Obaseki, has accused the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, of plotting to weaken the structures of the Peoples Democratic Party, in order to make it easier for him to run on the platform for the 2027 presidency.

Dr. Pedro Obaseki, who worked as Director of Planning and Strategy for the PDP 2023 Presidential Campaign Council, on monday had an interactive session with some journalists in Abuja against the backdrop of a call by the FCT minister to suspend Atiku from the PDP, said that the former Rivers State Governor said that because of his 2027 presidential election bid.

He stated, “It’s no secret that Wike’s sole ambition is to become the President of our country. He’s willing to eliminate anything, whether intentionally or not, that stands in the way of achieving that goal. What we’re witnessing is his effort to weaken the PDP, allowing him to subsequently weaken the All Progressives Congress, thereby creating a pathway for his 2027 presidential bid. However, we are not naive.”

“It’s crucial that we hold Wike accountable. There’s a limit to the ongoing disorder from a man who should be grateful. As Chinua Achebe wisely noted in his book ‘Things Fall Apart,’ those whose palm kernels were cracked for them by benevolent spirits should remember to stay humble. Unfortunately, someone like Wike, who is a source of disgrace to the people of the South South, continues to push his luck.”

Further talking, he said, “Who is Wike? He is a nobody. He was once a motor park worker in Port Harcourt before he became Local Government chairman. He rode on the back of the electorate of Rivers State to national prominence and betrayed everybody along the way. From being a motor park lout somewhere in Port Harcourt, to a local government chairman, to minister of state, then governor of Rivers State, and now minister of the FCT.”
