The President of The Nigerian Labour Congress, (NLC) Comrade Joe Ajaero, needs the cooperation of All Nigerians in order for government to see reasons with the suffering masses and come to terms with his demands. This was made known by the founder of Progress For The People Group, Ogbeni Ajibade Ogundeyi.

Ogundeyi said the hardship and suffering of the masses has no colouration, tribe or ethic group. In a press release signed by Ogundeyi, he described the current situation as an emergency that needs urgent attention. He said NLC is doing its job. This, he said, is not tied to season, months or years of any administration, but as situation demands. 

He said those saying Ajaero deserves to be pitied, condemned or lacks education for calling for national protest or strike in the prevailing circumstances facing Nigerians are enemies of a progressive society, community or nation, hence should be avoided.
