Nigeria cultural festival and business summit: Organizers highlight benefits

The Central organizing committee of the Nigeria cultural festival and business summit, (NICFEB) schedule to hold in Central Rome the capital city of Italy between May 30th to the 1st of June, 2024 have been speaking of the benefits of the summit to Nigeria business men and women.

The event is been put together by National Union of Nigerians in Italy, (NUNIA), Nigeria- Italy Chambers and Commerce, Giant Gee Nigeria Limited, with the support of Nigeria embassy in Rome and Senator Tony Iwobi with the aim of bringing together industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and professional from Europe and Africa for a unique convergence on business and culture.

Chairman of the committee, Ambassador Augustine Chigbolu while speaking with our correspondent recently in Abuja about the event shortly after emerging as the 1st vice president of the Nigeria Archery Federation noted that the event is part of Giant Gee Nigeria Limited long list of program they have in stock for Nigeria business men and women.

He maintained that Giant Gee which came into existence 2001 with the sole aim of organizing and coordinating international businesses between European and African countries can boast of having the requisite experience to successfully put together this particular event having successfully organized several Business summit of this nature in the past.  

"I am very happy that this Nigeria Cultural festival business summit is finally here. I am so very happy that the event is finally seeing the light of the day. I tell you, it is going to be a very big opportunity for our Nigerian Business men and women. They will have the opportunity to meet and interact with their colleagues from across Europe and other part of the world," he said.

Highlighting the benefit of the program, Ambassador Chigbolu stated that participants would benefit in diverse ways such as; Strategic exposure such that the platform will provide them the opportunity to showcase their brands to diverse audience and gain visibility among key decision makers. Other gains from the program according to the committee chairman is the Networking opportunities which he said will afford participants the chance to engage with potential clients, partners and industry leaders during syndicated networking session.

Ambassador Chigbolu who is also the Managing Director of Giant Gee Nigeria Limited stressed that the summit will focus majorly on Agriculture and food industry; Fashion; Music cuisine and cultural heritage; Oil and Gas; Energy and aviation; and Trade and Investment.

The organizing Chairman enjoined Nigerians to take full advantage of the event by participating, while noting that participation is very moderate as Individual participants is expected to pay 940 Euros, while Corporate participant of five persons are expected to pay 4500 Euros. He also stated that there are other sides attractions such as food court and exhibition stand which he says cost 500 Euros each.
