CIFEST will showcase potentials of Nigerian youths- Official

Mr Felix Duke, President of Creative Industry Group (CIG), has expressed confidence that Nigerian youths would showcase their potential and skills at the forth coming “CIFEST 2021.”

Duke in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos on Thursday said arrangements have been concluded for the week-long festival tagged “CIFEST 2021” holding from Nov. 21 to Nov. 27 at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) Lagos Island.

He said the programme, first of its kind, would have openings for participants in the areas of fashion/design, music, comedy, acting, catering, talent hunt, and sessions for symposium, film exhibitions, concerts, and awards.

“We believe in the Nigerian youths; they have all it takes, very creative, hardworking and determined, so this festival is coming as a platform for them to showcase their potentials.

“Most of them are clustered in the entertainment, fashion, modeling, and other areas. The event which is for talent hunt will be graced by people in the sector and international audience.

“On the culinary, the CIG catering section will feature ‘ dazzle your taste buds’ cooking competition where we will have both gender cook different delicacies with cash prizes for winners,” he said.

The CIG boss said that the event would capture existing and upcoming youths in the Dee Jay, media, life band and cosmetology sector which covers hairdressers and barbers.

He, therefore, charged the youths to take advantage of the festival to prove their ability and make significant contribution in the entertainment and showbiz industry.
