The National body of the Nigerian Military School Ex-Boys Association has joined Nigerians to mourn the death of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Ibrahim Attahiru.
In a condolence message to the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Armed Forces of Nigeria, the Ex-Boys Alumni and all Nigerians, signed by the National President Ex-Boy (Engr) Femi Ikuponiyi the alumni body said:
"We are deeply saddened by this loss. Their sojourn here with us though brief was very monumental. We shall miss them greatly but we shall carry on. We shall remain unified in our Diversity, We shall ensure all the ideals they lived for shall be upheld.

"We also condole with the families of the two noble members of ours who were involved in the crash - late Brig Gen MI Abudulkadir, the Chief of Staff to the late COAS and late Brig Gen Lukman Olayinka, the acting Provost Marshall of the Army, both of whom were members of the NMS 81 Class Sets".
The officers and men of the Nigerian Army and Air Force died on Friday when the military Beachcraft 350 aircraft that was conveying them to Kaduna crashed ner the Kaduna International Airport around 6pm in the evening claiming all 11 souls onboard.
"We pray Almighty Father shall grant the souls of our departed eternal rest. You live on in our hearts," the condolence message added.
