The FCT Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations has congratulated members of the Chapter who were elected into the Council of the Institute at their just concluded Annual General Meeting (AGM) which held in Bauchi state.

The Council is the Governing Body of the Institute.

In the congratulatory message, the Chairman of the NIPR FCT Chapter, Mrs. Maryam Sanusi, mnipr and the Executive Committee felicitated with Dr. Ike Neliaku, fnipr, Mr. Osondu Ohaeri, fnipr, Mrs. Priscilla Ihuoma, mni, fnipr, HRH Oba (Dr.) Adetayo Haastrup, mnipr and Gen. Sani K. Usman (Rtd), fnipr.

The Chapter also celebrated with its members who were inducted as Fellows on their investiture. The new fellows are Dr. Kennie Obateru, fnipr, Mr. Nasiru Imodagbe, fnipr, Mr. Lawrence Adigwe, fnipr, Mr. Chinedu Achusi, fnipr, Mrs. Comfort Ndefo, fnipr, Mrs. Oluwakemi  Oyekan-Olumuyiwa, fnipr and Mrs. Chinwe Ogbuka, fnipr.

"We have no doubt that with your emergence in these respective capacities, the Flag of the FCT Chapter will be raised higher within the Institute and across our beloved nation. The FCT Chapter congratulated the Olumobi of Imobi-Ijesa, Osun State His Royal Highness, Oba (Dr.) Adetayo Haastrup, mnipr on his 5th coronation anniversary.

The statement lauded Oba Haastrup for his passion, dedication and focused commitment towards the growth and development of his people and Imobi Town since his ascension to the exalted throne and prayed that almighty God grant him more wisdom, blessings, good health, enduring grace and boundless success on the throne.

The monarch is a Member of the NIPR Governing Council and the immediate past Chairman, NIPR FCT Chapter.
