An appeal has been made by members of the National Working Committee of the Peoples' Democratic Party, PDP, to all party faithful who have expressed divergent views and opinions to sheathe their swords and unite to ensure the party’s victory in the forthcoming general elections.

The appeal was made by the Chairman of the National Ex-officials Forum of the party, Yunana Iliya, representing the North-Central zone, at a press conference held at the National Headquarters of the party in Abuja.

The forum represents 36 elected leaders of the party from the country’s six geo-political zones.
