In a stern warning, Edo All Progressives Congress Deputy State Chairman, Emperor Jarrett Tenebe has send strong warning to Edo state government over plans not to provide voting materials for the upcoming Chairmanship and Councilorship election.

Tenebe emphasized that if the materials were not promptly brought to the field, the party members would resort to taking matters into their own hands.

With the election just a few hours away, Tenebe stressed the significance of timely provisioning of voting materials to ensure a transparent and unbiased electoral process.

He urged Governor Godwin Obaseki to uphold the principles of democracy by allowing a level playing field for all political parties involved.

Tenebe’s warning serves as a reminder of the party’s determination to protect the integrity of the election.

The statement implies that if necessary, the party members will not hesitate to assert their rights, potentially resorting to unconventional means to ensure that the voting materials reach the designated polling stations on time.

This strong message aims to hold Governor Obaseki accountable for any potential disruption to the smooth execution of the election process.

Tenebe’s warning serves as a call for transparency and adherence to electoral guidelines, urging the government to provide the necessary resources efficiently, guaranteeing a fair election for all participants.
