The All Progressives Congress National Women Leader Dr. Mary Alile on Friday said with the supreme court Judgement that affirmed the election of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as president of Nigeria, she has therefore reaffirmed the commitment of her office to the pursuit of the development of the nation, with particular interest in the empowerment of women which she said is a cardinal programme of the present administration.
In her congratulatory message titled,"
THE TRUTH HAS PREVAILED AND PROGRESS IS ON COURSE" that was made available to journalists in Abuja and signed personally by her, said with the landmark judgement, which affirmed the earlier decision of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, all contentions that had been instigated by opponents have been laid to rest, and His Excellency, can now commit himself to executing his fantastic Renewed Hope agenda without distractions.
The letter reads: "I, Dr. Mrs Mary Alile, on behalf of myself, and all APC women heartily congratulate His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), on the resounding confirmation of his victory by the Supreme Court as the validly elected candidate for the position of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the February 25, 2023 Presidential Election, and having no issues of qualification. Indeed, the truth has prevailed.
"This sweet victory is not only for President Tinubu but for all Nigerians, as agent provocateurs who had hidden under the pursuit of a legal right to cause chaos, overthrow democracy, and derail the perfect plan by a visionary President have been roundly defeated. And progress remains on course.
