The Edo Petition Tribunal sitting in Benin has sacked Hon. Destiny Oghayerio Enabulele of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the winner of the Ovia South West constituency election and declared Hon. Sunday Aghedo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the rightful winner.

The tribunal upheld the petition filed by Hon. Aghedo, challenging the declaration of Hon. Enabulele as the winner of the election.

The judge ruled that the evidence presented by Hon. Aghedo and the APC was more credible, and the election was filled with irregularities and malpractices.
