The Committee set up by the National Working Committee of the All Progressive Congress to screen aspirants have commenced the process of screening of aspirants on the platform of the party.

The screens exercise which commenced on Monday 15th January will extend till tomorrow Tuesday.

The exercises is to take place at the premises of the National Assembly Complex Abuja.

Meanwhile the list of aspirants seeking to clinch the party ticket have risen to 29.

A member of the National Working Committee who spoke on the increasing numbers of aspirants said it was an indication that the APC have increased its fortunes in Edo State making it the top contending political party for the off season election in September 2024.
