The Nigeria football federation election appeals committee has revealed the decisions of the 2022 Nigeria football federation appeals committee with regards the alleged case of forgery of BSC Certificate, (Accountancy) by Timothy Heman Magaji, from Taraba State University, Jalingo.
The Committee found as a fact that the petition relates to an alleged forgery of BSC, (Accountancy) Certificate by Timothy Heman Magaji, from Taraba State University, Jalingo.
The Petitioner is not contesting in the 2022, NFF Elections into the Executive Committee, Scheduled for 30th September, 2022 in Benin City, Edo State. Therefore, the Petitioner has no Locus-Standi.
Assuming without conceding, that the Petitioner is a candidate in the scheduled elections for 30th September, 2022, the appropriate body to send the petition to should have been, 2022 NFF Electoral Committee and not the NFF Appeals’ Committee.
The Committee found as a fact that the alleged case of forgery is before a Magistrate Court in Jalingo, Taraba State and that the 2022 NFF Election Appeals’ Committee lacks jurisdiction to entertain the petition.
The petition is hereby struck-out that there can be no Appeal against this decision. (Art.12 (4), NFF Electoral Code, 2009).
