Bayelsa Queens will open their campaign against defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa on October 31 when the 2022 Women’s CAF Champions League gets underway.

Nigeria’s champions Bayelsa Queens are among the teams that will participate in the second edition of the women’s continental competition as the second Nigerian side to feature in the tournament as Rivers Angels took part in the inaugural edition but failed to make it beyond the group stage.

The fixtures released by CAF indicated that the tournament would kick off on October 30 with host AS FAR FC taking on Simba Queens.
