Former Flying Eagles striker Emeka Chinonso might have finally announced himself as the next Goal Machine in Europe after scoring three goals within six minutes for Slovakian top side Trencin in the Slovak Cup on Wednesday.

Chinonso came on as a second half substitute for Eynel Soares in the 60th with his team just one goal up against Trebisov.

But after settling into the game for about 20 minutes , Chinonso began the goal rush in the 83rd minute before his second and third goals in the 86th and 89th minutes to seal his side's place in the Quarter final of the Slovakian FA Cup.

The 21yr Old Former Water FC of Abuja towering forward has long been compared to Erling Haaland because of their physical similarities and playing styles but he has suffered injury setback since his arrival in Europe two years ago.

Speaking after his first Hattrick for the Slovakian side , Chinonso said " I just wants to Thank God that I am fully back playing again after the injury setback that slowed me down since I came to Europe".

" I dedicate the three goals I scored to God and I want to appreciate the coach and my teammates for their support".

" The focus for me now is to stay fit for my club and I know all the people expecting alot from me will not be disappointed", he added

Emeka Chinonso who was part of the Nigeria Squad to the 2019 FIFA U20 World cup in Poland was also in action last weekend as Trencin thrashed Skalica 3-1 in the Slovakian Fortuna Liga.

Chinonso alongside his Nigeria counterpart Adewale Oladoye joined the Slovakian side at the beginning of the current season from Gent in Belgium
