...As CAF Instructors storm Abuja
In order to enhance the quality of Nigeria coaches, the technical department of the Nigeria Football Federation led by Coach Austin Eguaveon is organizing a two weeks coaching course for some selected Nigeria coaches in Abuja.
General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Dr. Sanusi Mohammed is one of the coaches that are participating in the ongoing CAF Instructors' Course.
The Course which started on Thursday at the FIFA Goal Project, Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Package B, Abuja also has the President of the Nigeria Football Coaches Association, NFCA, Ladan Bosso in attendance.
Other participants are former National Under 20 male and female teams, Coaches John Obuh and Bala Nikyu.
National Institute of Sports lecturer, Coach Lawrence Ndaks, is also one of the Instructors. Others are Stanley Eguma of Rivers United of Port-Harcourt, Daniel Amokachi, Wemimo Matthew, Alphonso Dike, Henry Abiodun, Edema Fuludu, Ibrahim Gwadabe, John Chindo, James Adesina and the Technical Director of the NFF, Austin Eguavoen.
The Course which started on Thursday 6th July, 2023, will climaxed on Saturday 15th July, 2023 with Mr. Abraham Mebratu, CAF Elite Instructor/FIFA Technical Expert and others taking the classes which will be theory and practical.
This is the first time the CAF Instructors' Course is taking place in Nigeria courtesy of the President and Secretary General of the NFF, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau and Dr. Sanusi Mohammed respectively.
