The management of FC Onal-Pal has expressed sympathy to their fellow Akwa Ibom based team, FC One Rocket over the recent armed robbery attack.
Players and officials of FC One Rocket were said to have been attacked by armed robbers while coming back after their week three match inLagos
The FC Onal-Pal owner, Engr Obinna Peter Paul while speaking to Newspathfinder described the incident as unfortunate and disturbing.
He thanked God that no life was lost and encouraged the team to forget the damages and pains but focus on the future which he believes is bright for FC One Rocket.
"The incidence of armed robbery attacks on teams is a horrifying experience. I thank God no life was lost. Teams are battling with bad roads and other frustrations but this is more disturbing",
"They are our brothers and when the news of that unfortunate incident filtered in, we were worried but the good news is that they are safe. We thank God for His kind protection for FC One Rocket", he said.
Engr Paul described as sacrifice all the properties lost as they can easily be replaced but life he said does not have duplicate.
While wishing them well, he urged FC One Rocket not to approach their other away matches with fear as they are destined to do exploits this season.
"We in FC Onal-Pal pray for the mercy of God upon the team. What is in front is far greater than the past. FC One Rocket will do exploits this season. As far as we are concerned, they are unstoppable", be stated.
FC Onal-Pal, led by veteran Coach Zachary Baraje will play in NLO next year when they will seek to realize their dream of promotion to NNL which eluded them this season.
