EPL: Chelsea agree £34m deal to sell Abraham as Lukaku arrives
Tammy Abraham

UEFA Champions League winner, Chelsea football club of England has agreed to a £34m deal with Roma to sell Tammy Abraham, ahead of Romelu Lukaku’s arrival at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal, West Ham, and Atalanta are all believed to be keen on the player.

But Jose Mourinho’s Roma are now on the verge of securing Abraham’s signature, according to Sky Italia.

The England striker has been at Chelsea since he was seven and made 82 appearances since breaking into the first-team six years ago.

Abraham scored 15 Premier League goals during the 2019/2020 season under Frank Lampard, but fell down the pecking order after Thomas Tuchel arrived in January.

The 23-year-old failed to make the matchday squads for the Champions League and FA Cup final.

He must now decide if he wants to join Roma, even as the Blues are reluctant to sell their academy graduate to a Premier League rival.

Abraham looks set to leave west London just as Romelu Lukaku completes a club-record £97.5m move to Chelsea, the club who sold him just seven years ago.
