The Executive Chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, has showered praises on the players and officials over the recent good run of the team.

Honourable Olaniyan, who was in company of the club's acting General Manager, Dimeji Lawal and the Administrative Manager, Mr. Babayemi Akintomiwa, while addressing the players and their officials after Friday's morning training at the Lekan Salami Stadium, particularly praised them for picking the maximum points against Kano Pillars in Kano.

"The last time I addressed you before we played against Kwara United, I told you that we needed to go out and get the results on the road. 

"I told you then that you can do it and I'm so happy that you have done it, and I can tell you, that you are making the government and the good people of Oyo State, as well as our entire fans happy."

The former Deputy Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, then charged the players not to let down their guards, but to strive harder to get positive results from the remaining matches.

"You must not relent yet. It is getting tougher at this crucial stage. I believe you can still do it and I hope that you will do it", added the football administrator cum politician.

Responding, team captain, Malomo Taofeek, thanked the executive chairman and assured that the team will go for victories in the remaining matches.
