Nigeria International and Liverpool fc player, Taiwo Awoniyi, has been granted a UK work permit ahead of the 2021/2022 season.
However, the Nigerian may be on his way out of Anfield, with the Reds receiving offers from at least, seven clubs.
Awoniyi signed for Liverpool in 2015, but has spent the past six years on loan, because of his failure to obtain a work permit.
He has spent this current campaign with Union Berlin in the Bundesliga.
This week, Awoniyi was finally granted a UK work permit and will now be eligible to play in the Premier League.
Liverpool plan to involve him in the first part of their pre-season schedule, enabling him to finally train with Jurgen Klopp’s senior group and perhaps feature in some friendly fixtures while a host of first-team players who are away on international duty at the European Championship and Copa America.
