As part of efforts geared towards addressing the problems of Youth Unemployment plaguing Nigeria, IBOM STRONG is organizing a free 4 day training for Akwa Ibom State Indigenes resident in Abuja on Security/Surveillance Technology. 

IBOM STRONG is a platform structured to empower, train, educate and connect Akwa Ibom State Indigenes from different strata of life and locations. 

Announcing the training in a statement made available to Timeline.ng, the coordinator of IBOM STRONG, Mr Henry Akpan said the initiative is part of the platform’s core objectives. 

According to him: "the training is scheduled to hold from the 24th to 27th of May, 2021 at 521 Ltd, second floor, Bavis House, 19 Gwani Crescent, Wuse, Zone 4, Abuja and will see participants clinch the opportunity to work with PLOTOUS TECHNOLOGIES, a Security/ Surveillance Company and a partner of IBOM STRONG. 

"Participants can also start their own business in that field with the needed support," he said. 

The coordinator went on to highlight the platform's core objectives, noting that: "We believe in empowering our people so that they can be financially independent and also contribute to the growth of the state. 

"We also believe that everyone has to play a part in solving the various problems of our constituencies and nation at large and we are rolling out programmes to achieve just that in line with the needs of our people."
