The story of the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, has been put in print.
The book titled, “And It Came To Pass: How God Turned A Pastor Into A Governor” is ready for public presentation on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at the International Christian Worship Center, Uyo, capital of Akwa Ibom.
In an accompanying video clip sighted by The Frontier, the author, Mr. Anietie Usen said, “This book is a very outstanding book. The election of Umo Eno (as governor) was one of the most challenging elections in the history of this state.
“Can you imagine an election that attracted 45 court cases? It is historic. If you were not here, this is the book to read.”
Book reviewer, Mr. Oluwole O. Akindutire Esq., also said of the book, “Each chapter represents a milestone that makes you look forward to the next one. You’re gripped in a kind of suspense and you’d not be able to put down the book till you’ve read the last word.”
On his own part, the former PDP chairman, Akwa Ibom State chapter, Emmanuel Enoidem SAN, said, “The book is a very sequential chronicle from the beginning of the unveiling of Umo Eno to his inauguration (as governor). It is a capsule, it is outstanding.”
The book presentation on Sunday is part of the activities lined up to celebrate Governor Eno’s one year in office.
The author, Anietie Usen, is Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Governor.
