House of Representatives Speaker, Hon Tajudeen Abbas, has announced the principal officers for the 10th House of Representatives.
The Speaker announced Hon. Julius Ihonvbere from Edo State as Majority Leader.
He announced Halims Abdullahi as Deputy Majority Leader while the Chief Whip is Bello Kumo and Deputy Chief Whip is Adewumi Onanuga (a female)
He also read a letter from the minority parties that conveyed their principal officers.
While Hon. Kingsley Chinda of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is the Minority Leader, the Deputy Minority Leader, Hon Ozodinobi George, is of the Labour Party.
Minority Whip is Hon. Ali Issa also of the PDP and Deputy Minority Whip is Hon. Aliyu Madaki of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
