On Monday, January 29, 2024, history will unfold at the Molade Okoya Thomas Indoor Sports Hall of the Teslim Balogun Stadium as the men and women para volleyball teams of Nigeria will embark on a campaign to secure a spot in the 2024 Paralympics. This momentous day marks the inaugural effort of the Nigerian national teams to qualify for the prestigious global sporting event. Hosted by the Nigerian Para Volleyball Federation, led by Kayode Ladele, the event welcomes teams from Egypt, Morocco, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Algeria, and Libya, all vying for a chance to participate in the Paralympic Games in Paris.
