The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has relieved Mr. Gabriel Nwanetanya and Mr. Ajayi Oluwaseun-Obe of their appointments as Ex-Officio members.

The private residence of the Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure, located at Asokoro, was on Sunday gutted by fire, the PUNCH reports.

The Acting Director of the FCT Fire Service, Amiola Adebayo who confirmed the incident to our correspondent stated that the first floor of the building was completely razed by the fire.
